Personal Statement
As the Director of Palliative Medicine for Stony Brook University Medical Center, I am 100% devoted to the implementation of palliative care programming at Stony Brook University Medical Center. I also lead the Survivorship and Supportive Care Service: a hospital based inpatient consultation service. As a highly active clinical educator, I have developed and currently teach an integrated palliative care curriculum as part of the mandatory training for all 3rd and 4th year medical students for the Stony Brook University School of Medicine.
