My Notes
As of early 2008, SBUMC is the only hospital in Suffolk County providing heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC. Dr. Pameijer is now using this innovative combination of surgery and chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced abdominal tumors.
