Pediatric Infectious Diseases
The Division of Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook University Medical Center provides expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in children and offers care to all patients.
They are dedicated to teaching medical students, residents and fellows about issues relevant to childhood infections and to conducting fundamental and clinical research.
Specialized testing is available including:- HIV DNA
- RNA PCR
- HIV ELISA Western Blot
- Lyme testing
- All other infectious disease evaluations as indicated
