  • Three (3) years of administrative experience in a medical office setting.
  • Prior pre-authorization process experience.
  • Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette.
  • MS Office proficiency.

  • EMR experience.
  • Experience with patient scheduling.
  • Experience with managed care companies.
  • Spanish speaking.

Description

Stony Brook Surgical Associates, UFPC seeks a Clinical Support Assistant who will provide general administrative and office support. They will handle telephone calls and route messages, mail distribution, maintains calendar and schedule meetings. They will act as a liaison between the patients and the physicians.
