Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • Three years’ LPN experience. Outpatient ambulatory experience preferred.
  • Currently registered in New York State as an LPN.
  • Must have excellent communication  and computer skills.


Stony Brook Urology, UFPC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse who provides high quality individualized direct patient care utilizing the skills and knowledge of the profession. The LPN accurately collects clinical data on patients and demonstrates competency in performing clinical interventions and reports abnormalities to Medical Provider and documents nursing observations, interventions, and patient’s response to treatment in the patient records.  They also have demonstrated competency in performing venipuncture for collection of blood specimens and facilitates the prompt and accurate processing and distribution of specimens collected.  They also accurately performs and records vital signs, weight and height, point of service blood glucose testing and promptly reports abnormalities to the medical provider or RN on duty.  Follow all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.  Some travel may be required between ambulatory sites in Suffolk County.

Schedule - Full Time

Work Hours- 40 hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm         

Work Days- Monday-Friday
