Required Qualifications
  • The candidate must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
  • Licensed in the State of New York in Nuclear Medicine.
  • ARRT Registration.
  • One year experience in the field of nuclear cardiology
  • Must have excellent communications skills.


The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position requires the technologist to perform nuclear cardiology exams, to be creative and responsible for providing excellence in clinical care as well as providing quality radiographs for the provider to make a diagnosis.

The technologist must work efficiently and professionally, as he/she is a representative of the Radiology department to provide services for other departments and referring physicians. The incumbent will need to work independently the majority of the time, with limited to no supervision. The technologist will be responsible for transferring and positioning patients, applying radioisotopes, assist physician in the administration of medications, and process images.
