Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6 months of Administrative Assistant or Medical Filing experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Must have excellent expressive and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications
  • EMR experience preferred


SUMMARY: This position requires the incumbent provide administrative support to the Office Manager. The medical clerk is responsible for the maintenance and organization of patient charts.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

  • File documents upon receipt.
  • Scan and fax documents
  • Retrieve documents from the EMR
  • Validate data for PQRS reporting
  • Answer and direct phone calls, document in EMR message center when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
